Questions & Answers

Q : Can I replace the broken windshield with the windshield of another car?
A :

As car designs have changed over the years the windshield has become an integral part of the safety features in vehicles. Windshields are designed for specific makes and models utilizing urethane seals and moldings to stay in place. Removal of the windshield typically requires the destruction of the moldings and often the windshield it self. Even in the case of similar or idenitcal car models the windshield will not survive the transfer.

Q : Is it illegal to drive with a cracked windshield?
A :

It is not illegally however any crack obstructing your view while driving could be considered negligent.

Windshield cracks compromise the safety of your vehicle. Please get it fixed as soon as possible.
