Installation Types

Complete Replacement : This full window installation starts by removing the existing windows and wood frame all the way back to the house structure, making this an idle solution to rotting. We create a new frame, install a new energy efficient window of your choice updating your home with fresh looking windows.

Window Insert : The window is removed and a slightly smaller sized new window is inserted into the existing frame. The installation is finished with aluminium capping of various colours for you to choose from..

Thermal Replacement : Most windows allow for a new thermal replacement for broken glass or damaged seals. This is an economical and efficient alternative to full window replacement.

Old Window Glass Replacement : We can replace the window panes in older single glaze windows including puttied panes in storm windows.

Window Terminology

Low E : Low thermal emissivity is a term related to the measurement of radiant heat from objects. To improve window glass manufactures have developed several techniques that maximize the thermal properties. These Windows are designed to keep both the heat inside during the winter and the heat outside in the summer, all while allowing maximum visible light to pass through.

Argon : Argon is a common gas used in production due to its inert properties and specifically in energy efficient windows due to its high thermal properties.

ENERGY STAR® : The ENERGY STAR Initiative in Canada is a symbol of premium energy efficiency. Products that display the ENERGY STAR symbol have been tested according to prescribed procedures and have been found to meet or exceed higher energy efficiency levels without compromising performance.
